Ok, I have done a lot to my truck since I got it, and Clinton has pressured me,lol so I figured I would make my very own project thread I bought it for $2000. It had a 2.5L with a 5 speed transmission. On to the pics... This is how it sat when I got it. I was replacing the fuel pump I then bought another truck for the bed, stock suspension, and rims and tires Bought a different bed, but it still sucked Did the ohc and lighted visor mod It had this done when I got it Then I decided to put in a 5.0. I didn't get any pics of the 2.5L coming out. The donor was a 96 Explorer The Grey Ranger in the background was the truck I put my old motor and tranny into. Picked it up for $200 Then came the disassembly of my truck Custom motor mounts Had to get the driveshaft shortened New radiator, later swapped for a bigger one I never got a video of it running, but it does run I will post some more pics in a few

Got a sport trac cluster, chrome bumper, and yet another truck for it's paint job and the rims and tires were way better than what I had. Don't have pics of the cluster Put in coil spring spacers to level up the front Then came a BL and 33's I always get filthy when I work on stuff Needs alignment Towing the extra parts to the back yard Westin step bars LED's in my mustang dome A.R.E topper with roof racks Red front bumper Clear turn signals And this is how it sits now
I just uploaded more. lol But I don't know if it will ever be done. I still have a long list: Dana 44 front and 9" rear transfer case and all related goodies front pipe or plate bumper with winch topper painted rear bumper with tire holder 35" tires exhaust That is most of it!
simply incredible man!!!! This has to be the BEST built thread!!!!! simply wordless... congratulations!!!
Your truck is awesome! It's definitely come a very long way. Looks great! You put in a lot of work and it looks like it paid off.
Great job! You have wayy more perserverance and patience than I ever will lol. Just one thing: Get a topper that fits... The non-steppie topper on a step-side bed is odd lookin lol
Thanks for posting the video Richard! Thanks! And that topper is for the step side bed, they all have the part that flairs out at the front for some reason! lol
wyman, do you really use the topper????? Cause stepys looks hell nice without them!!!!! Take it off man! Just to know, how much did you payed for the damaged explorer?
