I disconnected my battery because my theft kept blinking,But then without thinking I shut my hood and locked my doors for overnite then I realized now I cant get in to open my hood release with my power lock and my key wont open the doors how can I get in to open my hood?to reconnect my battery cable?

i have done it too but i just find it odd to use this as a first time post. over on another forum a guy wanted to know how to take out the theft system after that he troped like a rock he hasnt been on at all
I an no the thief I just got this 99 Ranger 4.0 ext cab 101212 miles on it and i washed it the nite I got it the next day I wanted to move it in my driveway I am waiting for my title to come in the mail so I can transfer my title from my 94 s10 4wd with 179800 miles on and the anti theft light started blinking went i shut the key off so then I read on a forum somewere just disconnect your battery and that is how i accidentaly shut the hood and locked the doors cause it was dark and i figured i would reconnect the battery in the mornining i am NO FREAKING THIEF I PAID 5000.00 FOR THIS TRUCK IT IS CLEAN 4.0 5 SPEED NO RUST!!! THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!:furious:
ok chill out man gee just take a coat hanger to the back window get it into the latch push the latch out of the lock and slide the window open
Your theft light should flash occasionally. It does it in all Fords/Lincolns/Mercurys. Sorry to have accused you man. We all just figured you'd be on if you needed to know that bad. Can't really trust anybody nowadays.
