LED tail bar installed last night!!

I broke down and finally did it. I bought an LEDGlow LED tail light bar. The problem was, I couldnt find one to fit a stepside, smallest they had was 49". After a little modding of the truck, It fits perfect! It even have reverse lights...BUT the instructions say just tap into tail light reverse power line, I tried both lines and no success. Anyone have any tips on the reverse lights?
