not sure if this is correct a buddy of mine who works at ford said i has a bad intake gasket and a hole in my exhaust manifold... when i get in to it hard in 3rd it sounds like a valve sticking and tapping not real sure what is going on but if i park it for about 30 min it stops doin it any body have a clue what it may be...

it runs fine no loss in power, oil preasure is great, not over heating at all i cant figure it out and i dont really have the time to just tear it apart cause its my daily driver but im going to get into it thursday while im off all day and see what i can figure out...
its probably just a exhaust manifold... or a exhaust manifold gasket... be sure to be easy when taking the bolts out of the manifold .. not to break the bolts off... and i would reinstall new bolts..
that was it we couldnt see the crack in the mmanifold until the salt from all the snow we got started burning on it ha ha but it helped got the pat ordered should be fixed by the end of the week thanks for the help...
hey man you dont have to thank me... thats why im here ....even tho i drive an f150 ... i dont know too much about the rangers...
