Im new here, I used to have a 1992 f150 (I posted on f150forum.com as 92custom) I tore up the trans in that truck and couldnt rebuild it or find another so i sold it for scrap:censored::censored::censored::censored:, I drive a 1983 ranger now its a std cab lwb 2wd 2.0L 4cyl (72HP...its a beast) with a 4 spd manual transmission (real trucks have three pedals), I can be described as a redneck, I dip, so far on my truck I have put a cb, hurst t-handle shifter, and camo seat & steering wheel cover...my future plans for the truck is to put a 3/4 drop 18in mustang gt/cs (chrome torque thrust style) rims 302 v8 efi with a 5spd power steering & brakes...those are the major ones but to many small mods planned to list

I forgot to mention that I have a 600w MA audio amp and a 10 inch memphis PR subwoofer and two clarion 6x9's and a jensen flip out cd/dvd player to install but i have to make some kind of bracket to hold the radio (I cant use a regular dash install kit because the previous owner cut up the dash to hell and back)
i know some one will shoot me for this but its very true .. a 305 and yes i said a 305 chevy will fit in the hole a lot easier than a 302 and should bolt right up to your tranny ( may have to buy a belhousing convertion kit)
I met a guy in birmingham that had put a LT1 in a ranger just like mine, but i want to stick with a ford motor in my ford it pisses me off when people put a chevy in a ford...if you wanted a chevy motor buy a chevy
ya it bugs me but i gound out why they do it a couple of days ago aparently the small block chevy's have a narrower block so they fit in just about anything ... i know a could guys that have put 302's in there rangers and went through a lt of work to do it but were queit inpressed when they had it running and were smoking the tires of it lol
I tend to agree...if you want a chevy, buy one. I can see putting a chevy motor in, only if someone GAVE you one!
I own a 1985 535 bmw that I've had restored. I also have a company car that I drive, but I'm leaving my job soon and that stays with the company. If I can sell the 1985 bmw, I want to get a mustang GT. I probably won't go new, but slightly used. I've been drooling over them on ebay motors.
cool my uncle used to have a v6 mustang with a 5spd and it would scream i was impressed for a v6 in a hevy car
I'd love a F-150, but haven't been able to convince the wifey that is a good option She doesn't want to drive a truck.
