In this, you will learn how to remove your old seats and swap in your new seats.

**Note: This swap was performed on a 2001 XLT Supercab. Replacement seats are from a 2007 XLT Supercab and had the same mounting brackets. Brackets must be the same to perform a direct swap**

    Tools required:
Standard ratchet & sockets or air ratchet
    Torx bits

    Step 1.
Using your ratchet, remove the mounting bolts at the base of the seat. There are 2 bolts in front, 2 in the back on each seat. On the rear seat brackets, there will be plastic caps on each side of the brackt. You will need to pull the plastic pin out to seperate them, then remove the plastic caps.

    Step 4.
If you are using 04+ seats in an 04- Ranger, you will need to swap the seatbelt harness which is bolted to the seat itself using your ratchet & torx bit or standard socket. If you leave the newer style seatbelt harness and install the seat, the male end of your seatbelt will not latch...Therefore you must do this swap if upgrading! It is a single bolt that needs to be removed, along with the seatbelt retainer is the wiring for the seatbelt and airbag sensors.

After unscrewing the bolt for the seatbelt harness, pull it outward and down from the underside of the seat while pushing the seatbelt harness through from the top.

    Step 5.
Install the seatbelt harness from your original seat into your new seat in reverse order of step #4

    Step 6.
Install your new seats. Prior to bolting your seats down, re-attach your airbag sensor in reverse order of step#2. If there is excess wire, it can be zip tied underneath the seat to prevent the wire from falling into the tracks.

    Step 7.
Bolting down your new seats. Using your ratchet, secure your new seats in reverse order of step#1
