My first new car was an 87 ford ranger 2wd long bed base model. My parents and brother in law and I used it like a full size truck and it never quit. I just bought a 92 xlt 2.3l with a supercab, manual transmission and split fold down seats. The paint on hood and top of cab look like crap and it was running rough. I've had it for a week now. Changed the plugs, wires, oil,filter, put in a performance chip and installed some driving lights. Previous owner had removed lights but left everything else. I didn't want to waste those extra holes. Now shes running pretty good again. She still has some oil leaks to find and maybe some new ball joints are in order but I'm in love again! People like to bad-mouth ford but I love my ranger! I plan to keep her going to show people what a ford can do.
