Premium vs reg fuel. Will be pulling a cargo trailer in the mountains is it wiser to use premium fuel. 08 4x4 ranger. Thanks new to the forum.

Use Premium.
You'll have better driveability and less possibility of detonation.
If you haven't done a tune-up in the past year or 13K miles, you'd be smart to throw on a set of wires and plugs, too.
Use Motorcraft or AC Delco.
