Floor Pan Replacement

Hi everyone-

Just registered to post this question, I tried to search the forum archive, but couldn't find anything.

I have a 2000, extended cab, flair side. It is not a show truck, or modded- but I love her, and she runs like a top.

Unfortunately, the Central N.Y. winters (salted roads) have taken a toll on my drivers side floor pan, and I can see clear down to the road :(. It's pretty significant, and I would like to replace the floor pan.

I for the life of me, cannot find a floor pan replacement ANYWHERE. Plenty for late 80's to right around 93 (ish). Anyone have any ideas? Short of just cutting out the rust, and cramming / welding random sheet metal in there? Which I can, and will do if need be, but I would much prefer to just drop a pan in there and be done with it.

Let me know, thanks in advance.

Hello Lew and welcome to the forum! I see what you mean, everything I came up with was for the 1983 to 1992 models. I would have to assume that they aren't even close to the 2000 model. Your only recourse may be the hand-formed sheet steel approach. :(

Thanks for the reply!

Yup, just going to have to rig something up so I'm not Flintstoning all winter.

Oh well! It'll be a fun project for this weekend.
