I just remembered I never posted this on here; I dont really get on this one much as there isn't much activity. Well decided to put her to work for the first time and use it for what it was built to do; also a good chance to show where I finally took the steps off. Its been snowy and rainy here so didn't really want to try and get the trailer out so just decided to use both the trucks. Also decided to snap a few pictures of my helper. It isn't the prettiest or nicest out here in KY being winter and being raining and snowy but owell. Also some more randoms of the truck and dog together. Lastly, just some more randoms. Ive been wanting to put some other wheels and tires on it but the more and more I look at these pictures I ALMOST want to keep the stock look with just some more aggressive tires. Sucks that the stock wheels are ugly and only 6 inches wide; BUT I might get wild and have them widened to 8 inches and repaint the gray n get the stock hubcaps for them. Hmmm, ideas ideas. Also figured beens ive never posted a picture of myself in the thread for our own pictures, I figured you can actually put a face with a name finally. My ole ugly mug.

Thanks LMAO. Yes I know, he has been absolutely awesome Thanks I appreciate it. Still trying to decide. If I get this job I will probably turn to getting a 05-07 6.0 350 and putting this one on the back burner. So we will see what happens. Thanks man. Means alot coming from you.
Nothing wrong with a good 6.0. Just get one that hasn't ha issues, do the fixes, and you've got a reliable, powerful, great sounding truck. Get an 07 if you can. They were the best from factory, least amount if fixes to do. Throw a good tune and exhaust and you've got big power reliably. To many people diss the 6.0. But it's not that bad.
Like 6.2 posted, they arent that bad if you can get a decent one and throw some money at it. What other options is there? Sure as hell aint going newer and getting the 6.4 and good looking finding a 7.3 with low miles for a good price; the 6.0 talk and all the newer issues just caused them to go through the roof even more. My buddy just sold his lifted 02 7.3 crew cab lariet with 220,000 miles for like 18-19 k and it flew out the door in a few days here in KY, if im going to spend that much it aint going to be on that. Plus I specifically want a crew cab king ranch so 7.3 aint happening. x2. One of the best sounding diesels of all time, and if you got an extra vehicle and can do whats necessary; its not a bad motor. I def know what im risking buying one but id be prepared to do what needs to be done if it went down.
