cargo lamp?

ive had my ranger for about a month and just realized my cargo lamps never gone on, is there a switch to turn it on or do they just go on when the doors open?

without the dimmer switch turned all the way up they dont come on like the f-150s and up do unless you mod them to come on with the domelight.... modded mine like that and comes in really handy after dark trying to go around the back of the truck....
