I was planning on buying bull bars for my 02 FX4 Off Road. This exact model: http://www.autoanything.com/grille-guards/61A1769A0A0.aspx But I am worried the bull bars will fall directly over the tow hooks. Does anybody know if they will fit properly? Thanks

I haven't put one on a Ranger yet but on some trucks you can keep the tow hooks and on some you can't. The brackets usually use the same mounting holes as the tow hooks. Sometimes you can put the bracket on and the tow hook on top of it. If you don't mind taking you tow hooks off then you should have no problem. I will be putting a brush gaurd on a Ranger that has tow hooks friday. Although it isn't the same as a bullbar the mounting brackets should be close to the same. I will let you know then, if you can wait.
If the bull bar uses the same mounting brackets as the brush gaurd it bolts to the out side of the frame rails and uses one of the bumper mounting bolts.
There was one on the F-150 I used to have & it used the tow hooks. I wanted to take it off but there was some paint chipped behind it so I just left it. As far as Rangers I can check around for you
