bad shock? pics

    well these are the shocks ive had on since April when i lowered it (3 months-ish ago, so about 3k miles). would you say this is leaking or is it from heat or something from the exhaust? never noticed it when i had the last set of shocks doing this. its got greasy crap all over it, i wiped it away in the one to show you. what do you think??

    wipe it clean then see if it gets dirty again. could be road grime
