I have a 1996 Ranger and need to do something to help improve the backup light. It barely illuminated anything behind me. With the brake lights actually providing considerably more light than the actual backup light it has become more than a nuisance and now racking up damage due to back up accidents! Since Christmas have backed into two different things. Never in my 25+ years of driving have I ever had this problem.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE DONE THAT WORKED AND WHAT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Well all needs bright lights when backing up. Personally, I would mount the Fog Lamp under the bumper. When you toss it in reverse, the whole world would see you backing up. Just make sure it is on the reverse light, when you take it off reverse it should go off.
