Alternator??

    Does anyone know how many watts/amps the stock alternator puts out?

    My OEM alternator was 95 amps, but I'm not sure what the output is on the newer trucks, probably not much more though.

    i believe mine is the same as buggman's

    Yaa buddddyyyy 90~95 is average, you can pick up a 110 I believe at many parts stores

    Ok cool just askin cuz i just got a new sound system put in and i was makin sure i wasnt going to blow my alternator. Thanks for the responses!

    Yes mine is also fluctuating between the 90 to 95
