Have a 92' 3.0L 4wd, I just replaced motor with a 96' 3.0 with 100,000 miles, truck runs great problem is it's still running hot - has not overheated. My temp gauge fluctuates continually while driving from normal to real hot. I have replaced water pump, thermostat, & radiator (was leaking), and I cannot find what the problem is, I would appreciate any ideas you have. Thank you very much.

Thank you for replying -fan clutch thermostat is brand new, losing water (anti-freeze) but I don't know from where, the motor before this one had a cracked block and this motor was a really good deal (free) from a friend who wrecked his truck but it ran xlint before that. I'm at my wits end with this thing. again appreciate any thoughts you might have. Thank you
