Idle too fast on cold start
My "94" Ranger 2.3 manual,no AC is the same....What,s the problem? So, it warms up fast & idles down....Why do you need to fix it ? Mine runs fine!!! What else is going on?? Sounds normal to me!!!!- Tonyroy1

93 Ford Ranger dual valve 4 cyl 2.3 ltr. won't stay started.

Question
Keep the oil changed and use 1 quart of Lucas oil supplement...this is the best vehicle you will ever own....Mine getting ready to turn over 350,000 miles....Only problem ever was a $16 fuel pump relay fuse located under the hood.. I love my Ford Ranger 4cyl 2wd...- Tonyroy1

Odd crank but no start issue, appeared from nowhere
Fuel pump relay..under the hood!!! It was for my 94 Ranger anyway!! Good luck!! Only $16 ....- Tonyroy1

94 ranger mileage
My 94 2.3 L just turned 300'000 miles...put in new fuel pump,new filter, but,when it's warm it won't start unless I use starting fluid....any ideas...thank you- Tonyroy1
