the 90 had a 2.3L4plug the 95 also had a 2.3L but it was 8 plug the other four plugs dedinate late to burn all the unburn fuel and to make the truck pull a hair better. and im pretty sure i have a tack for your truck if you want it.

as much as i wanna say that the ranger would win there is no posible way you could not against an LT1 with a 6-speed that would be ridiculously fast the 4.6 would never touch it

IF IT HAS 8 SPARK PLUGS THAT ISN'T THE MOTOR FOR THAT TRUCK!! lol that motor is out of a 1993 to 1995 ranger it will give you bet gas milage and will give you a bit more power this is a really good motor to have in your truck i bought a 1991 ranger with 8 plugs and it didn't belong to that truck...

best and cheapest power would be.. cold air gut your catylatic converters ..oit cut them off new plugs new wires new fuel filter electric fan chip it underdrive pulley swapping rear end to different geared rear end to pull better but that is just about everything i can think of

you will have to probably swap motor and tranny cause the tranny out of the ranger might not bolt up to the 4.6 you will have to rig up the wireing from the f-150 into the rangers wireing harness SOME how that will be a pain motor mounts and exhaust shouldn't e a problem just fit the mounts...

im sorry but i am not a fan of a 1" lift on a ranger let-alone a like 3ft lift seen as i was in a roll over with a stock ranger so that just makes me wonder will it fall over when i try to climb in it

ya take a hammer and tap the bottom and the side of the tank a couple times while truck is off.. turn the truck on if the gauge moves its fixed if not leave truck on tap a couple more times and check it again if it osts your good if not then that requires you to either pull the box and then pull...
