I have a 2004 Ranger XLT 4.0 2WD extended cab with a little over 50,000 miles. 99.9% street driven. No lift or over sized tires. What is everyone using and why? There are a lot of choices. Just need a good all around unit. Thanks!

Just thought I'd stir the pot a bit and ask what weight oil is being used. :shifty: I'm on the west coast and it very seldom ever gets down to freezing in the winter but it does get hot in the summer. Manual says use 5W30 but was considering using 10W40 Royal purple. What are your thoughts?
