    Just bought a spare rear axle for $40. As far as I can tell, it's a 4.10 L/S disc 8.8. Woo!!!.

    IMHO, it's way too small for large tire applications. You can still get perfect steering geometry with the Ford steering boxes. They're beefy AND easy to tap for ram assist.....Ask me how I know lol. Great build btw, keep up the good work!!

    *begin thread-jack* You also need to plate your frame and add a steering box mount. Be it external (78/79) or internal (80-96 F-series or 97 and down ranger), it needs done. Grab yourself a set of James duff Coil buckets or EB coil buckets and bolt them babies on there along w/ F250 shock...

    Less than a half an inch. But it's so close to the pivot point, it doesnt hit at max flex. I'll see if I have to trim it once I get the x-arms in.

    Crossmember is in. As of now, at full flex, it does not need recessed for driveshaft clearance. We will see once my x-arms are in.
