    ehhh i dont like the gen 1 dmax to many problems. the middle ones are okay. the new LMM's are crap on accleration cause of the new fuel mapping. im looking at maybe 1 98-2000 2500 with the 24V and XC auto or manual doesnt matter to me

    nah i gave up on finding the newer truck. i decided to just drive the civic for now in school and as soon as i get out of school im buying a 2500 or 3500 dodge with a cummins. better motor and easy to work on. i got $2600 for the ranger

    cooling issues

    Well i replaced the sending unit. it still goes up high but it reads alot more steady. Im thinking maybe i got a bad motorcraft thermostat. Ill try getting another one and see if that does it.

    just wanna run this by you guys. see what your opinions are. The ranger has been running hot. bout 3/4 or more up the temp guage. it use to run under the half way mark no matter what. now sitting it gets to the middle of the guage and if i drive to school. ( i drive 70 miles to school one...

    i still get to keep the ranger!!!!! and i will still get the diesel. im going to look at the rd truck tomorrow!!! Dad is keeping the Ranger and using it since his f450 blew a turbo and the suburban's crank broke. so the ranger is still gonna be mine and i will get my full size!!!! HAPPY DAYS YO!

    one guy stuffed a 6.0l powerstroke in one. only had to extend the frame and hack up his inner fenders. but the truck was crazy fast on the strip
