got a 93' with 2.3L with 5 speed manual. I want to swap the engine with something better. I would like to know what engines would bolt up or something with not to many complications. Need more power.

HI, I don't have an answer for you but oddly enough I see very old posts and I am not sure if this Forum gets a lot of activity.
I am going to look around also, I though I would mention it. But my guess would be the 2.5L for bolt up. I know mine never had great power compared to my ful size truck but I have towed many cars on my dolly and even though I need to go down to third she never left me stranded.

Thanks! A 2.5 would be a upgrade but still not as much zip as I would like.

Thats the thing. When Euro or JDM stuff is all you see, especially when you see it on stock cars, you want something thats going to look different from all the stock cars drivin around.
