I have a 2009 ford ranger fx4 and when I turned on the ac today, it was blowing hot on every setting including max a/c. I'm pretty sure it's not the blend door or actuator. The ac isn't even kicking in. Would it be the switches? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I agree. mine kicks in on my 88 but the bearings in my compressor have gone south so it tries to kill the truck when it idles. try the freon, get a thing to recharge it at walmart for like 13$.
