95+ requires pulling the dash. the dash isn't as bad as people make it seem. pull the kick panels and a-pillars. go to engine bay side and unscrew the three plugs that go though the firewall under the brake booster (wiring) remove lower knee panel and metal plate on driver side. unbolt single bolt from steering linkage right at the firewall. remove bolt completely. unbolt steering column from dash, four bolts. unplug wiring, column can be removed. do not turn the wheel! three bolts under the defrost panel two bolts on the driver side door jam, one on the passenger side jam. at this point, the dash will just about be in your lap. there may be another bolt on the driver side trans tunnel. there will be a couple other wiring connections/ground bolts that need to be removed. just pull the dash back a little and you will start to find them. i pulled a dash in the junkyard to get to the fire wall. had it out in 15 minutes.
yep, 94 and older has a door on the bottom of the box. four screws to open the door, unhook the hoses, drop core down.
