My first post thanks for allowing me to join. On my 4th Ranger now a 2011 slightly used in service April 2012. 15 thou KM and mint. I noticed and local Ford canot give me a definative answer regards the weather stripping that goes all around the cab, this being the extra cab with the extra doors. The weather stripping directly above the doors both sides has a contour dip in it down wards. All my other Rangers the weather striping was strictly tubular right across the top of the door no dip. They say the dip is normal and dont really know and are not willing to bring in a replacement because if its correct with a dip they are stuck.............fair enough. This issue is bothering me as i dont know if for sure the dip is correct or i have defective weather stripping. Maybe there was change but i cannot figure out why?, why would there be a dip about 6 to 8 inches of the weather stripping above the doors., pretty much dead enter of the front door windows. Anyways since the Ford dealer is guesing i was hoping some one with a 2011 could look at their weather stripping and let me know if there was change 2011 or a year or so earlier. Like i say all my other rangers including a 06 the strip was completly tubular or round in shape right across the top of the door..................the two on my 2011 dip................hard to tell if they are moulded or defective and local ford guesses they are correct!.Thanks Steve
