    yeah i was gonna say, i tried to tap some DOM by hand for something at work... i wanted to die.

    Yup It's so much easier to spend the 10 bucks or so per insert. Plus the inserts are hex shaped so I dont scar the tubing all to hell when I go to align it.

    Crossmember is in. As of now, at full flex, it does not need recessed for driveshaft clearance. We will see once my x-arms are in.

    Looks good! Mind me asking what happened to the one joint? looks like ya got a little too close with a hammer?

    Slightly warped the threads when I welded them in. Had to get the pipe wrench on that bitch!
     
  10. looks good, and close to the shaft too, what kind of clearance you got between the member and d shaft?

    Less than a half an inch. But it's so close to the pivot point, it doesnt hit at max flex. I'll see if I have to trim it once I get the x-arms in.

    Dude, that is just crazy!! We need to get our trucks together soon. Last time they were, mine was higher so I have to see how much higher yours is!

    Lol no. Im swapping in a Manual T-case here sometime this winter so I'll have to cut up the diamond plate a little lol.
