Hey guys! Wife noticed something leaking under the truck. So I got home and found out the inner CV (passenger side) is leaking. Right up next to the T-case. The boot is fully intact, that is why I ask. It was clicking a bit so I figured it was going out. It is leaking I think, right where it meets the T-case. Of course there is quite a mess around that area. I think I found a CV for about $65 on ROCKAUTO.com. But what else is needed, seals fluids etc. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like the output shaft seal needs replaced rather than the CV.

Is that hard to replace? Can I just pull the CV out and replace the seal? It still clicks almost like I have a metal sheet stuck in bicycle spokes. Is the CV on its way out?

It may be a torn seal. You can replace just the seal not the CV. But you will need a new CV end bolt those, you can not re-use them
