i have a 94 ranger with the 4.0 ohv... a couple weeks ago i was working on it... it started up fine.. ran alright, parked it in the garage.. went to move it out.. got half way out of the garage and it died.. The truck turns over, but will not fire.. and the fuel pump does not start. I checked the relay under the hood and it seemed fine, i'm just not getting ground at the relay. I checked the fuel shut off and it wasn't tripped. I jumped the fuel pump at the relay, and the pump fired up. Any insite on what could be going on? Where do you guys think i should start? thanks

Check the fuel pump reset switch. It's directly behind the glove box. To reset it, press the button on top of the switch.
Fuse seems fine, im just not getting ground to the relay, maybe i have to do some wiring searching? i checked the interia switch (if thats what your referring to).. the button on mine is all the way down... does this mean it's tripped? or if its up is it tripped?
alright... new evidence has appeared i was just working on it... and before the button on the switch was down, so im assuming it was tripped... now i just went back out and was going to take the switch out and look at it.... the button is back up (im assuming in this position its not tripped) but the truck still wont start, and i don't hear the pump starting.
Go back and check your fuses. If they're fine, run a continuity test to see if you have power to the fuel pump.
