99 Lower ball joints Hi, I just did this over Christmas. If you have an O'Reilly's or Murrays or AutoZone nearby rent the ball joint press and spring compresser (big but fully refundable deposit even if you break the tool). Makes all the difference and its free after you return it for the deposit. Once you remove the nut and press the joint out of the spindle/knuckle, hang the kunckle up out of the way. The press will push the ball jount out of the lower arm pretty quickly, then its just reverse assembly process. The hardest part for me was getting the new boot to snap onto the ball joint housing! Finally found a large enough socket to push down all the way around the lip. If you want a .pdf file of the process- respond to this post and I will attach it to another post (don't have it yet but I can get it easily). Lemosteam
I just realized yours is a 4x4. Mine is a 4x2- but I can still get a helpful file for you. Hopefully tomorrow.
Ball Studs Congrats- Sorry I was late. It always feels great when I don't have to pay someone else to do the work.
