Ive got problems with an 89 ranger that has the 2.3L 4 cylinder with DES. I hit a large bump while driving and it died instantly. It has no spark and the injectors are not firing, but it does have fuel pressure and it turns over. The crank sensor has been checked and I also tried swapping the ecu with one from a 91 ranger with no luck. I am not positive if 89 and 91 ecu's are compatible, but the connectors were the same. What do I check next?

i could not find a fuse in line with the ecu, but im not sure that it is getting power. is there anywhere i can find a wiring diagram for the ecu to check power and ground and what not?
i think this problem has already been solved by now so how did it ended up? i mean i wanna know how did you fix it? ive already checked the sensor, ecu, coil packs are okay and my head is not okay trying to think what caused it. opppps! the fuse i havent check it. i hope this get solve already. i dont what my dealer to be happy again because of my money. update: my problem was solved already by my independent mechanic. it was my fuel injector which cost like this. and i dunno how did it ended up changing it. mind blowing. anyway it is not important anymore as long as my truck is running fine again.
Have you checked the inertia switch? a huge impact could kick the switch open and give you the same symptoms.
