Just pull the drive shaft. It's 4 bolts on each end and won't take 20 minutes. I wouldn't tow it backwards. If you can't pull it yourself have a shop do it. Even if they charge you a half hour of labor it won't be more than $30.

Hey all! I did a search but couldn't find the answer to this - I just replaced my driver side power wondow motor (motor only). My problem is that when the window teaches the top or bottom of its travel, the motor keeps going till I hit the up or down button again. Makes a terrible hitting sound...
