    P1000 Wont Go Away

    It is VERY difficult to fulfill that 14 step cycle,my gosh who could ever get that done, such specific speeds,my p1000 still hasn't "cleared"! I have 08 ranger xlt 4.0L with 140k auto trans.     Extended cab or standard? I have an 08 xlt extended (2dr) cab and I'm 6'2" ,plenty of headroom AND leg room,more than enuf,hope this helps.

    Know what this is?

    Looks like a vacuum operated heater control valve in between radiator and the heater core,it controls how much heated water you want to get to your heater core,it is operated by your temp knob,the more you turn your knob to hot,more vacuum is allowed to open that valve,also works the other way...
