ICV ? I’ve changed the idler control valve

I made a diy smoke machine and only place that had smoke come out was the nipple on the idler control valve

Yes I used a smoke machine and couldn’t find any leaks

My daughter has a 1999 Ford ranger 4.0 V6 XLT and it has been have trouble starts and runs still a rough idle now but when put in gear it stall and surges also stalls and surges at stop signs and light sometimes dies unless you keep the rpm’s up at 1000 here are the codes Po171 Po 174 P1131...
