new hood ( well new paint any way )

i was going to do this when i painted the whole truck but said what the heck and went ahead and did it. i know it dont look as good as if it where a newer 01+ hood but i like it so any way here are some pics since every one love em

after a good bath and a good hard sand down

taped her off and ready to paint

i need to hit it one more time with clear or bed-liner i dont know yet. i will post up some day time pics tomorrow

your right it dose but with one more coat then once i hit it with bed liner it will be ok

Must be the paint y'all used. More expensive paint means better ingredients. Higher quality things.

or that i took my time and did light coats. the bumper is painted with $.99 a can paint and is fine too.

i aint taking that your being a dick man.. i dind spray it on i used rustolume paint and rolled it on. when its all said and done that peal will be gone. i have done the spray on my jeep in the past and right now i kinda wish i did it that way but i needed to get the black down first so i could use the bedliner to match my rockers

Once you use the bedliner, it'll look alright. What kind are you using?

will be ok, just wet sand before you put more paint on and should turn out ok
it takes time
