Thinking of lowering my ranger

I have a 2000 ranger regular cab that I want to lower. Don't know anything about lowering vehicles so I need some suggestions. I don't want to slam it to where I'll be having speed bump problems. How many inches should I lower it and what parts do I need

sorry about the wait lmao but for the back suspesion you should be able to get a free 6invh drop just by flipping the leaf springs and then you could cut your front spring down about 3 and half inches inorder to level tha shii out lmao
