anyone ever take out the jump seats and put like a safe in that space or ammo box or something??? something besides a amp?
 
Check military surplus stores, they have the ammo boxes, you can drill holes in the bottoms and mount them with the bolts that held the seats
 
Never thought about a safe back there...

I took my jump seats out a long time ago & made new covers with hinges that conceal my amps & fuse/distribution blocks.
 
harbor freight tools has a pretty good electronic safe, on sale like 29 bucks
good place to keep the gun at times when you can't take it in somewhere with you.
or just wallet and stuff while at the beach
 
i ended up getting a .50 cal ammo box for on side and im getting a harborfreight safe for the other side . ill get pics on here tomorrow
 
sounds like you will havea good setup back there.
I might even do the safe , since I have one jump seat out already
 
its not like i could even fit back there im 260 so thats out so a place for tools and random junk sounds like a much better plan
 
.50 cal ammo box bolted into the floor using jump seat holes makes for a nice water proof tool box

i didnt remove the jump seats, but i did make a box out of marine-grade plywood to go back there, sits behind the drivers seat, has my tow-strap, some tools, jumper cables, receiver-hitch drawbar, flashlight & i also have all my "glove-box" stuff in there in a big plastic bag. (regestration, insurance card, notebook of mainteneice perfromed) i left the passenger jump-seat area alone as i have 3 in the family, even though its a bit cramped for my 16 y/o these days, its warmer than riding in the back!
made it low-profile enough that the cargo-cover will go over top of it.
