Hello Everyone! Heres another thread from deep inside theelcaminomans brain!

I see some of you guys have some excellent looking Rangers with camper shells on them. One that stands out is Mamba. Anyways, I am a big truck kind of guy and I want my next vehicle to be the Ford Excursion! Some of you might see where Im going with this... If I had more money than sense (which I dont see happening anytime soon) I would buy myself a camper shell, take it to a reputible body shop, and tell them to make my camper shell, truck bed, and cab all one; like a miniature Ford Excursion! And of course, a Ranger wouldnt be a "real" Excursion unless I can choke on some diesel smoke! Id then take it to a machanic and tell em to swap in a 4BT Cummins and make it worthwhile of course with bigger injectors, turbo, etc etc. And no big trucks complete without a sizeable lift and tires! Will i ever do this? Doubtful. But its sure fun to think about!

this is kinda like how i looked at my '84 oldsmobile station wagon and thought it might be neat to sawzall the back off and make a crew cab el-camino. thankfully that thought didin't last long, hahaha.
