    i have a 2007 2.3 ranger that has had some engine probelms but thats not why im here. my truck was broken into and now the only thing that lights up is the anti theft light. when key is put in nothing but that light

    "To reset the anti-theft on the vehicle You will need to first get into the vehicle and shut the doors. With the doors shut You want to put the key into the ignition slot and turn it on. Once You have turned it on You will then want to turn it back to the off position. Now repeat this procesS8 more times, and make sure You do it in under 12 seconds. On the last one, You will want to leave the key in the on position. Wait for about 5 minutes and You will see the anti-theft light blink. Once it blinks start the engine and the vehicle will now be reset. If the engine does not start then You did not turn the key on and off quickly enough"
