I have a 96 xlt 3.0 liter and for some reason it started running hot so I replaced the waterpump, fanclutch, thermostat, tensioner pulley, air filter, radiator, and I changed the oil. I can't even run my ac. without my gauge going 3/4 up. Someone suggested blown head gasket but the oil looked fine and no oil in my coolant! I also changed a few sensors.. Any ideas???

you can also check the rad with the cap off and see if it is constantly bubbling if so it has a blown head gasket between one of the cylinders and a water jacket and the compression will be enough to keep the coolant and oil from mixing.

  5. use an ultra gauge it shows engine temp. or use a instant read thermo gun
just to make sure it is over heating and not a faulty gauge
