    Do cold air intakes really improve a vehicle's fuel efficiency and horsepower?

    Im looking for a cold air intake for a 1985 635CSI i can not find any luck with finding a decent priced ones. does anyone have any inputs or any ideas in where to look at.

    It will but there are other factor you have to consider. Air are metered to the intake, so there wouldn't be too much air because the computer control the air flow (AIR FLOW METER after the filter). So, if you do get abundance of air to the engine, you will need to release exhaust. Hight flow exhaust would help. Everything is at cost. The intake is always noisy, since the stock baffle is removed. I could see the only plus side is the filter and be clean.
