I have a 1997 2wd 2.3 with a manual trans and a 1998 2wd 2.5 with a blown auto trans. I want to swap the manual into the 98. Will it bolt up, or do I need an adaptor of some sort?

check this website out. therangerstatioin.com, I am sure you will need a donor vehicle. You will need new wire harness for the engine. Pedal, master cylinder, steering column. Most of the time it is cheaper to just buy a truck with manual transmission.
