I've been looking to buy an intake for my ranger, i used to have a cheap universal one on it. Nobody seems to make an intake system for a 97 ford ranger 3.0L. They are either for the 2.3 or the 4.0. Will the 4.0 design work on the 3.0? Anybodys input would help. Thanks.

I thought the 3.0 throttle body's outside diameter was the same as the 4.0 but can't say for sure....if you buy one and it would happen to be slightly on the small side you could use foam tape on the outside of the throttle body and just tighten it down with hose clamp.
