The check engine light is on in my truck. When I got it checked it said EVAP PLUG FAULT. My truck tends to drop down to a rough 500 rpm idle when I pull up to a stop sign or just sit and idle sometimes. It only does it sometimes and I am confused as to what it could be. My truck runs fine all the other time.

I have the same problem, how come nobody else has replied to this post. Anyway I have replaced the IAC, EGR pressure sensor, Idle air control motor and the MAF sensor. Changed fuel filter, and cleaned the throttle body. I noticed on another post a guy was having Idle problems & 2 persons said that it could be the heads. Any thoughts on this ? Please Help, have been dealing with this for a year w/2 different mechanics.

I don't understand what the problem is. It continues to do it and my truck doesn't have any power problems. I tried to sea foam it and no luck, it still has a very rough idle. It'll idle fine for a few minutes but then it kinda bogs down.
