    Greetings, new here.

Have had this 2011 Ranger 6cyl for about a year now, was a municipal water dept state truck. Has been quite reliable, relatively low mileage (under 80k), minimal rust etc.

Today I'm getting a lot of electrical static noise out from under the dash, drivers side. Looks to be the relay for the hazards / turn signals.

Static noise is there with truck shut down, key out of the ignition.

Static will stop if turn signal is deployed, whether truck running or shut down. Return signal stalk to neutral position, static returns.

I've searched for a bit, I see that the wiper/turn signal assembly can sometimes be suspect, causing issues.

At this time I've been unable to pull the relay (FoMoCo 9L5T-13350-AB). Looking for replacement I think I may need to go direct to a Ford dealer, I've been unable to locate the "AB" derivation of the unit.

Any ideas? Past experiences with something like this?

Thanks in advance for any input.
