1994 Ford ranger 2wd cranks but shuts off problem

Do i need to change

    I changed fuel pump assembly fuel filter crank position sensor timing belt fuel injections motor still good and transmission still good it cranks up but shuts off

    There is a safety reset switch on the passenger side kick panel.

    That ^^^^^^^^ it hasn't kicked on my truck yet but it has left me sitting and stumped in other vehicals. It doesn't take much of a bump for that fuel safety switch to kick on.
