    Looking for technical assistance.

    Hello All, Been a while since I have posted. I have managed to get a lot more done to my 96 5.0 swap. I am still having difficulties with keeping it cool. I have used the 96 Ranger heavy duty radiator (4 core), a 180 deg thermostat and still it will run hot at a drive through. I have a new...

    Overhead Console

    There are seven wires going to the connector. The part only uses four of them, GRY/WHT, LT GRN/RED, LT GRN/BLK, PPL/WHT. I tired looking up the part number at fordparts.com but could not find it.

    gas leaking

    I agree about the pump. The bed is fairly easy to remove. Disconnect taillight wiring (under the bed at drivers side rear), remove six bolts holding the bed on, and remove the fuel cap and three screws attaching filler neck to the bed. Be prepared to change the fuel filler pipe at the same...

    I really do like the seats. I have found on one of the forums that there is a list of seats that you can transplant into your ranger. Ford Escort seats are pretty popular for having the halo headrest. The ones I used bolted right in, I did not have to change the seat tracks.

    I think I am going to go with the hubcentric adapters, I will use the steel lockwashers. I found the wheels I want to use. 2001 Lincoln LS factory polished aluminum. They look really good, 16".

    Bronco II fuel tank mod

    Does anyone have a step by step procedure to put a bronco II fuel tank into a 96 Ranger. I have lots of questions. Wiring is a no brainer, buy more wire and solder both ends, keep the right colors. Where do I relocate the fuel filler to? What can I use to lengthen the fuel lines, or do I...

    StRanger :: 1996 Ford Ranger XL, 4X2

    I had to use the yoke from the T-Bird and a conversion U-Joint. That will do for now. When I upgrade to the 5.0 I will use the shaft from the donor vehicle and have it cut down or lengthened to meet the diff. There are halfshafts that go in, I was pulling the rear diff to have it rebuilt when...
