alright... new evidence has appeared i was just working on it... and before the button on the switch was down, so im assuming it was tripped... now i just went back out and was going to take the switch out and look at it.... the button is back up (im assuming in this position its not tripped)...

this may be a dumbass question.. if the fuel interia switch is tripped.. should the button be up or down?

Fuse seems fine, im just not getting ground to the relay, maybe i have to do some wiring searching? i checked the interia switch (if thats what your referring to).. the button on mine is all the way down... does this mean it's tripped? or if its up is it tripped?

even if it fires up when i jump the relay?

i have a 94 ranger with the 4.0 ohv... a couple weeks ago i was working on it... it started up fine.. ran alright, parked it in the garage.. went to move it out.. got half way out of the garage and it died.. The truck turns over, but will not fire.. and the fuel pump does not start. I...

right...

well your the the desert or wherever.. deep paint gouges like that are a total different story and can/will cause major issues here in the snow/salt belt area... so its a big deal.. i'd be pissed as well... doesn't matter if its "just a truck" or not.
