    2001 and newer rangers - front axle- 4x4

    all 4x4 rangers 2001 and up - live front axle ( no auto locking hubs ) make sure the large nut on the end of the axle( in the center of the lug nuts ) is torqued up tight ( 150 - 225 ft. lbs. ) it may feel like the wheel bearings may be going if the nut is not properly torqued down.

    parts missing (or -just not there)

    ordered a new 2008 ranger FX4 aug.07 and arrived nov.08. I had wanted comand start put on and was told it was dealer installed. when it arrived the dealer said they could not do it because it had standard transmission (had to go aftermarket). Then being a 4x4 i thought it should have mud flaps...
