As long as you increase the exhaust flow too ! Increase the intake flow and you need to increase the exhaust flow to realize the increase. You will probably get some increase but not all you think you will unless you equal things out.

The Ex may have the LS already. The axle housing from the Ex will fit the ranger, with minor mods, but don't fool around with the spider gears, not really worth the trouble. For the time and money, swap in an Ex axle housing and get 31 spline axles and a LS. I have a 31 spline LS for sale if...
