I am a lineman for a power company, and as for hobbies I love working on my vehicles and I would also like to learn how to weld and fabricate better. I used to have a small collection of VW toys...mainly railbuggies, but those are all gone now. I love anything to do with the outdoors.

The return are always the worst. It took me 6.5 hours to go get my last ranger and about 8 to get it home. It sucked!

Road trip! I have taken a trip to PA before just for a truck and it wasnt even mine! I found a toyota on ebay for $250 and we took off. But I'm not doing that again! lol

I suppose I could but it would be easier for me to just get another one. lol I have never rebuilt a motor before but I still might put this one on an engine stand and tinker with it after I get the truck running.

I am just going to get another complete 4.0 motor and then it will be good to go.

Well, I changed my mind again. I decided to put another motor in it. I stripped the old 4.0 and it is waiting for some extra funds... My buddy and his son Had to throw this in there And here she sits for a while...

You made me LOL! I think that the drivers side head has a hole in it that is not supposed to be there, but I am done for the night. I will get a picture of it tomorrow.

I have it tore down now, all I have to do is unbolt the heads!!

I think I will start off with replacing the head gaskets on the engine that is in it first.

I brought the truck home last night! The guys mechanic told him that he thought the block was cracked, but I am thinking that it is just bad head gaskets. There is definately water in the oil though. It still cranks up and sounds real smooth.
